Another milestone

Ian recently graduated to a "big boy" car seat, he was over the height and weight limits on his infant carrier - he is growing and changing so fast, it just made me realize again what precious gifts children and time truly are - sniff sniff

Ok so I don't have any pictures of this night but recently our friends Liz & Derek invited us over for dinner. Liz grilled some beautiful lamb chops and steamed some fresh fava beans, the kind of stuff I would never try as a kid (my taste buds finally matured just like my mom said they would), Ian ate almost an entire chop and at least 5 whole fava beanpods, we may have a foodie in the making...but he still likes a little junk food like good old cheez-it's

A new way to see the world

We're ready for all kinds of new adventures with Ian's new backpack! We had a great time testing it out and geo-caching at the Arboretum with Besta & Papa, sometimes the best get aways are close to home!
