First steps!

Ian took his first steps tonight!! Besta & Papa came over for dinner after a long Ellensburg hiatus and Ian decided it was time to bust out with some walking! These first steps were soon followed by Ian's first fat lip :( If I can get this #*$&%@ camcorder to download the %*$*#&! video you can see it too!

Crush has begun!

The guys, aka Laurelhurst Cellars, got their first bins of grapes last night, a half-ton of merlot from Klipsun vineyards. Pictures/video/and commentary to come as we get down and dirty with the 2008 crush!

Ian's Birthday Week

We started Ian's birthday week with a trip to Ellensburg, home of the World Famous Labor Day Weekend Ellensburg Rodeo! We went to the parade and the fair and had a birthday party complete with banana cream pie. Next we took a trip down to "the Farm" in Oregon and spent Ian's actual birthday at Cannon Beach. We're still a little in shock that Ian is 1 already, he continues to amaze us minute by minute! More pictures and video to come :)
